Sovereign has upgraded their trauma insurance product and we have re-rated it. The main changes are as follows:
- Bowel Disease, Osteoporosis, Rheumatiod Arthritis
- Increase in the number of partial benefits paid
- Increase in the options for special events increase
- Better Heart Attack definition (partial payment of 50% (max $50,000) with a better definition.
All are improvements in the coverage. The most significant enhancement is to the benefit in the event of a heart attack. Because of the much greater weighting for this item in our model for male lives the gains are correspondingly bigger for them.
